Hitachi introduces its new, compact and lightweight 4 1/2" angel grinder, the G12SS. Using high quality materials including a glass reinforced polymide resin body and die-cast aluminum gear casing, the G12SS offers performance and durability at an agressive price. Weighing in at just over 3 pounds and measuring only 10 inches long, the G12SS allows for optimal control while providing a high power to weight ration. With a 5 Amp, 580 watt input motor, the G12SS is perfect for the grinding of metal or masonry, paint and rust removal, or sanding. With a low profile head and compact body, the G12SS gets into the tightest corners, while a small grip perimeter and forward canted side handle add comfort aand reduce user fatigue. Externally accessible brushes for effortless maintence on the jobsite. The G12SS includes one depressed center wheel, wrench and side handle.
